S.E.E. Strange, Endangered and Eternal

Prue Sailer with Susan Ryman and Lauren Potts
Manning Regional Art Gallery, Taree 8 April–23 May 2021

S.E.E. is a concept that explores the fragility of existence in the natural world from three different perspectives – through the eyes and imaginations of three artists with Fine Art and Natural History Illustration training.

In Endangered, I meticulously portray endangered and critically endangered native fauna from the Hunter and surrounding regions, together with suggestions of human-induced contributors to their demise.

This combination is a powerful catalyst for inquiry and alerts us to the increasingly tenuous nature of their existence
