Harbingers of Rain Suite

As a natural history artist, I draw endless inspiration from Australia’s unique and varied wildlife and natural environments, exploring new places, and finding new species to study.

This nourishes the profound respect I have for the interconnectedness of all living things. Using a range of traditional media and techniques, I endeavour to capture the infinite beauty, vibrancy and intricacies of nature’s forms. In particular, I aim to portray the extraordinary character and qualities of Australia’s birds, with which I am so captivated.

I am also fortunate to be able to use my artworks as a means to explore and convey themes around the fragility of our precious endangered native species, and humanity’s impact upon them.

I exhibit regularly in Newcastle and regional galleries – you can keep up-to-date with my current work and upcoming exhibitions via my social media links below.

All original works on this site are for sale unless marked as sold, and prints are available on request. For enquiries about purchases, or engaging me for a commissioned work, please get in touch via the contact form.
